The situation

Access interrupted.
Several areas affected.

A property owner contacted KPS after a tree came to rest on a tenant’s vehicle, also contacting the garage roof and adjacent fence. The vehicle could not be moved.

KPS assessed the site, discussed the scope with the owner, and obtained authorization before beginning controlled removal.

The response

On site in 31 minutes.

The initial call came in at 12:20 p.m. KPS dispatched the first service provider at 12:36 p.m., and he arrived at 12:51 p.m., just 31 minutes after the call.

Because this was an urgent request, dispatch and mobilization moved forward while KPS continued gathering details and coordinating with the property owner and tenant. The on-site assessment, scope discussion, and authorization followed before removal began.

The work

Removal through closeout.

  1. Assess & remove

Controlled cutting and sectional removal cleared the tree from the vehicle, garage, and fence on August 28.

  2. Stage & haul

Debris was staged after removal. KPS returned on August 29 for loading, hauling, and disposal.

  3. Clean & document

The crew completed cleanup and closeout photographs. Limited cut wood was retained at a neighbor’s request.
